Do you love The Lion King?

Well, as you probably know by now, Disney’s classic animated adventure story set on the African plains has recently been remade for a new generation of moviegoers (check out our review here).

And it recently got the Burj Khalifa treatment. As we know the world’s tallest tower loves lighting up to mark special occasions, which it has done many a time over the last few months, most recently when it lit up to mark the 121st Philippines Independence Day.

In this video you can see the Burj Khalifa lighting up to mark the launch of The Lion King remake, which you can now see in cinemas across the UAE.

It features all the characters we know and love from the movie, including Simba, Timon, Pumbaa and James Earl Jones’ Mufassa – we all remember that “look up at the stars” monologue, right?

Shinhan Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding with financial technology startup Ground X and blockchain developer Hexlant for the development of a blockchain security system.  In terms of the deal, it will see the institution’s partners jointly developing a Private Key Management System for its banking services.
