Hillsborough’s Nutrition and Culinary Services come up with new recipes for school year – FOX 13 News, Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) – It’s a busy week in the Tampa Bay area as students head back to school.

Many counties are reporting back Monday, including Hillsborough County, which means the cafeterias are warming up their stoves and ovens.

The Hillsborough County Public Schools Center for Nutrition and Culinary Services is the headquarters for the folks behind the food being fed to students. It’s where they come up with new, healthy recipes, as well as the kitchen where they cook meals for schools that don’t have a full kitchen.

Peter Ferket receives Poultry Nutrition Award – All about feed
